Information UgoHire collects on our sites and applications is stored in the United States and/or your home country and may become subject to U.S. law.

This privacy notice applies to information UgoHire collects or uses on websites, website applications, and mobile applications owned or controlled by UgoHire Worldwide, Inc., including UgoHire.com and Jobs.com, or affiliated companies (collectively "UgoHire" herein referred to as “UgoHire” “we” “us” and “our”). Affiliated companies are entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common control with UgoHire Worldwide, Inc.

DEFINITIONS 

Employers means both employers and recruiters who are seeking employees.

Processors  means those parties that process personal data on UgoHire’s behalf. This includes entities that help us deliver our products and services to you, including but not limited to our web servers and site databases, analytics, marketing assistance, customer management tools, payment processing services, providing customer service, advertising, and resume writing tools.

Resume and CV have the same meaning.

Third Parties as Required by Law means entities that must receive information because of a legal obligation. This includes both government agencies and law enforcement pursuant to a lawful request. Information may be shared with these parties to protect the rights or property of UgoHire and our affiliated companies, investigate fraud, prevent crime, protect national security, or to protect the personal safety of users or the public. UgoHire will take reasonable steps to share the minimum information necessary.

The scope of this Privacy Notice does not cover Personal Information collected for the purposes of processing applicants to UgoHire for direct or contract employment, managing UgoHire employees, and administering UgoHire benefits. Relevant Privacy Notices are provided at the time of collection for those specific purposes.

UgoHire collects personal information to:

UgoHire collects information the following ways:

When you use our sites and applications. We receive and store this information when you enter it on our websites, send it to us, or provide it to us in any other way;

If you are located in the United States, we may collect information about you from publicly available websites or third-party providers.

UgoHire may disclose and transfer personal information to a third party who acquires any or all of UgoHire’s business units, whether such acquisition is by way of merger, consolidation or purchase of all or a substantial portion of our assets. In addition, in the event UgoHire becomes the subject of an insolvency proceeding, such information will be disposed of in a transaction approved by the court. You will be notified of the sale of all or a substantial portion of our business to a third party by email or through a prominent notice posted on the site.

Retention of Your Information  

Where UgoHire acts as a controller of your Personal Data, we retain such data until it is no longer necessary to fulfill the purpose it is being used for, as required by applicable laws, or until you ask us to delete it.

Information on how long we retain your information, for each purpose, is set out in the following section. In determining these appropriate retention periods, we consider the purposes for which we process Personal Data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means. We also consider the extent, nature, and sensitivity of Personal Data and our legal obligations with respect to data. Where possible and relying on our legitimate interest in improving our Sites, UgoHire anonymizes or aggregates Personal Data, so that it can no longer be associated with or identify a user, in which case UgoHire can further process the information. For example, we may use anonymized job seeker data, such as your resume or profile data to test the accuracy of our products and services. Another way we may use anonymized data is to make sure our technology is helping all people get jobs in a way that is fair.

Where UgoHire acts as Processor of your Personal Data, we store such data until instructed to delete it by the Controller.
